Lexi First Bath
Mike took some shots with the Point & Shoot camera while I gave Lexi her first bath. She wasn’t very happy in the sink, and she was very squirmy, trying to jump out! I had to keep giving her kibble to settle her down.
It was a quick bath, but she looked and smelled so much better. Poor baby, I didn’t dare give her a bath while she was sick.
But now her black fur really shines! She’s gorgeous!

Before….poor Lexi didn’t know what I had in store for her. Mindy was just glad that it wasn’t her getting a bath!

Bribing Lexi with kibble treats. Everything is always easier with food. Lexi loves to eat!
Miss Wiggle Worm kept trying to jump out of the sink.
She did pretty well in the towel. Mindy always squirms in the towel. Lexi was calm and seemed to enjoy being snuggled.
Pfffft. She gave me a raspberry afterward!
EDIT: 2009-04-18 – Gave Lexi her 2nd bath. She tried to jump out of the sink several times, but I made it quick and she smelled and felt so much nicer after.

Oh so cute. The pictures made it look like she was cooperating for you and was good – but they are still photos, so I can just imagine. She is so tiny was it hard to do? Thanks for sharing!
Hey Janice, she was pretty wiggly. I had to keep holding her w/ one hand, while washing her with the other, or stuffing kibble into her mouth to keep her quiet for a minute.
She wasn’t happy w/ the bath at all, but it only took a couple of minutes. I was very quick, just to get her used to it.
