Lexi still has her terrible cough and cold. Sneezing, coughing, wheezing, the works. The good news is she is wonderful otherwise. Eating, drinking, pooing, and playing up a storm!
She’s been on (3) Anti-biotics, and nothing really helped. No worse, but no better. Well today she got a bit worse. I phoned the Vet, and I have an appointment on Monday for a "tracheal wash", which requires a very light anesthesia. They put some liquid down into her lungs, and it comes back up again, with hopefully a good sample of any stuff that is in her lungs for tests. That way we will know for sure if it’s pneumonia or another bacteria.
So, I am a bit of a nervous wreck now, and I will probably be crazy all weekend waiting for Monday. LOL. I just hope we can finally figure out what’s wrong w/ my poor sweetie and fix it!
UPDATE: After further research on the procedure, I have decided to call the vet and cancel. I have some other more natural ideas, and I am hoping the vet will work with me on them. If not, it might be time to find a new vet. We’ll see!
