Mindy really loves her greenies, and we give one to her a few times a week. The problem is, she devours the small greenies in a matter of a few minutes!
This morning, right after she came inside, she heaved up two or three pieces of greenies. She has done this before, but not recently. One of the pieces was a good sized end piece. sigh. We try to watch her with greenies and other chew bones, and grab away that last smaller piece. That way she won’t just swallow it whole, but the greenies are harder, because she takes only minutes to chew it into nothing. We will have to make an effort now!
UPDATE (2009-02-16) We do not feed our dogs Greenies anymore. They really aren’t very healthy, and there are much better choices to clean teeth, like real bones!
